ALL IN THE DETAILS: It's Time to Wrap It Up!

Between the heat wave, back to school shopping and the last weeks at your summer job, some of us have lost our energy to reach our full fashion potential. Don’t worry, we’ve all been there—shall I remind you of finals week? Never fear though, it is definitely possible to be casual and chic simultaneously. I have witnessed bloggers rock the heck out of joggers and a basic tee. I have seen students manage to make a greasy topknot look RAD with a flower crown. Sometimes all a casual look needs is one bold piece. It can be your shoes, a necklace or maybe even colorful eyeliner; but I promise you it will make your entire look seem stylish.

This Fashionista is beating the heat in a simple white cami and cuffed light wash jeans. She pairs her outfit with black gladiator sandals but her statement piece is her headwrap. On any given day this base outfit can be dressed up in any way possible for most occasions. This Fashionista also shows us how we can get creative with warmer season pieces by using a simple neck scarf to create a customized hair accessory. The Fashionista told me that there are tons of ways to use a scarf as a head wrap but this design has to be her favorite. Head wraps have been around for centuries and, just like Converse high-tops, I’m glad their style is still on-trend. The best thing about this accessory is that there are so many prints and styles to choose from!

How To: Grab your solid-colored cami, denim jeans and boho sandals to start off. Of course you can’t forget your eye-catching headwrap either. Voila, another way to look cute without breaking the bank!
