Simple things can bring any outfit from ‘meh’ to ‘YAS!’ This Fashionista’s outfit is anything but ‘meh.’ She brought her outfit to life by utilizing a few simple fashion trends to absolutely kill it for class! Unlike last month’s warm weather, it’s been a bit chilly. Here in Chicago, we don’t let that stop us from looking fabulous! We just have to dip back into our winter wardrobe a bit.
When trying to decide who my next muse would be for this month’s article, I immediately thought of this Fashionista. After following her on Instagram for a while now, and seeing her serving looks around campus, I knew she would be perfect. She doesn’t let early morning class stop her from looking fierce and put-together on the daily!
This Fashionista is rocking one of the hottest trends: a lace-up top. These tops have been popular for all seasons, and they won’t be going away any time soon. You can find these tops for any type of day or weather, whether it be a lace-up sweater, long-sleeved, short-sleeved crop top, bodysuit, you name it! They are perfect for any season or occasion. The lace-up top adds the perfect amount of detail to spice up any outfit!
She paired this top with some cuffed jeans and adorable black booties. To top it all off, she’s wearing a Sherpa-lined, suede vest. This vest is perfect considering the weather decided to be cold again! For a little extra detail she added some dainty jewelry, which is totally on-trend and so necessary for a chic and detailed look.
