Fall is officially upon us here in Syracuse, NY. The temperatures are slowly but surely beginning to drop, and, of course, everyone’s dreading the impending central New York winter. There’s only so much time we have left to try and look our best before the snow reduces us to big puffy jackets, hats and a whole lot of scarves. Accessorizing becomes harder when you have to zip your jacket up past your nose, and wrap a scarf desperately around your face. Nonetheless, there’s still some time left to really embrace some of our favorite fall fashion trends.
This Fashionista is wasting no time in making the most out of what fall has to offer. The warm temperatures may be dwindling but this is the perfect time to sport, one of my favorite looks: a  flirty dress and some fun boots. This Fashionista’s long sleeved dress is perfectly appropriate for the weather, and the floral pattern is showing some warmer yellow and pink tones that are perfect for the season. Not to mention, a pair of Frye boots is a must have have for your closet, and this Fashionista’s brown cowboy boots are perfectly autumnal. But as any good Fashionista/o knows, it’s all in the details! Layers, layers and more layers! Layering necklaces is the perfect way to add detail and depth to any outfit. This Fashionista had fun with it and sported three necklaces varying in lengths and metals. Never be afraid to mix metals! Especially if your outfit has all different tones and colors like this Fashionista, sometimes mixing silvers and golds adds a unique effect to your outfit. Just be sure you don’t overdo it!
Overall, this Fashionista’s outfit gets a 10 out of 10 from me. With the addition of a gold watch and gold knotted bracelet, her outfit is perfectly accessorized. She completes her look with a hot pink streak in her hair that screams fun, but more importantly supports Breast Cancer Awareness! Never forget that fashion can be the perfect outlet to support and draw attention to your favorite causes and foundations, all while still looking cute.
How To:Â Never be afraid to accessorize! Just because you’re wearing one necklace doesn’t mean you can’t wear three, or even four! Balance out your neck accessories by adding some pieces to your wrist. A watch and a simple bracelet is the perfect way to streamline your accessories and your overall look.
