As I am sure I have stated before, I absolutely adore leopard print. At least one leopard-printed item is assumed to be a requirement in every Jersey girl’s closet. Since I am a New Jersey native, leopard print will always have a place in my heart (and closet). That’s why I had to get this Fashionista’s look on camera.
Animal print, more specifically leopard print, has been on trend for as long as I can remember. However, it takes a delicate balance to properly wear leopard print because too much print can take an outfit from trendy to tacky. This Fashionista took this trend and styled her outfit perfectly around the detailing in her denim jacket and purse. Her denim jacket features leopard print details around the collar and cuffs. She paired the jacket with a plain white V-neck T-shirt and black skinny jeans. Leopard print paired with red accessories always makes for a killer fashion combination, and this Fashionista’s outfit agrees. Her red booties (and red hair) spice up her ensemble by adding a pop of color that matches well with her look. She tied her leopard look together by pairing her outfit with a leopard print cross-body bag and red heart-shaped studs.
How To: Leopard print is a perfect accessory for almost any outfit. If your outfit is primarily leopard (or animal) printed, your accessories shouldn’t echo that same print. Instead, pair your leopard printed outfit with a pair of red or black shoes and gold jewelry. What is my style tip for leopard print? Less is more.
