Summer is one of the best seasons to be daring with your outfit and to find different ways to show off your style. Some popular trends this season include longline T-shirts and platform shoes. Longline T-shirts are one of my favorites; they’re flowy and made out of lightweight material which is perfect for the hot summer days. You can dress them down for a casual, simple pool day or you can dress them up for a girl’s night out. This Fashionista’s outfit made me want to go and try some platform shoes with a longline T-shirt.
In my opinion, platform shoes are hard to pull off. Several times I’ve tried them on and felt like they were too much for me and I felt as if I wouldn’t know what to wear with them. This Fashionista pulled off both trends effortlessly. Her style was very edgy yet casual. She was wearing a black longline tulip-front tunic with some black platform shoes. To add some detail onto her outfit she wore some floral skinny jeans. The floral jeans actually made the black in her outfit stand out even more. The bright red lipstick she was wearing also made her whole outfit stand out.
How To: Do you feel as if pulling off a platform shoe won’t work for you? Be daring and go try it out with a longline T-shirt. If you feel as if being bold isn’t really your thing, try a different shoe. Maybe something simple like Birkenstock sandals will work.
