You can never go wrong with lace dresses, especially in the summer. I know what you must be thinking, long sleeves in this heat? Well, what caught my eye was neither the lace nor the long sleeves, but rather what she paired under and with it.
This Fashionista picked a contrasting black sleeveless leotard to wear underneath this nightgown turned dress. She didn’t let the mere fact that it was completely see-through stop her from proving loungewear items can go straight from the couch to the streets. The black underlay made the lace details stand out, while leaving her arms bare and breezy.
Besides the details in the dress, this Fashionista’s killer Sam Edelman heels and standout Betsey Johnson sunglasses are really what made the outfit. The studded silver and black heels perfectly complemented her cream and black ensemble, as well as her cat-eye sunglasses. She finished off this look with dainty silver earrings as well as an orange-red lipstick for a distinctive pop of color that wasn’t too overdone.
This Fashionista was headed to a day of thrift shopping and browsing through the local shops, and sure looked fashionable doing so. Hopefully, those heels were made for walking because that dress can be transitioned through all the times of the day and night!
