When we all thought that spring was upon us and cold days were over, Mother Nature surprised us again. Bringing back the 30-degree weather can be a bother for most, but this Fashionista knows how to switch her shorts for sweaters for a look that conquers the March temperature changes.
The first thing that caught my attention about this outfit were the cute details that this Fashionista added. At first glance you may think that this is just a normal sweater, but it is unique in its own way. In addition to the black and white stitching, this sweater features accented brown elbow patches. Elbow patches aren’t something that you see every day and I am obsessed with the look it adds to this sweater. It immediately caught my eye.
My other favorite part of this outfit were the booties. With booties being a trend this season, you see them pinned all over everyone’s Pinterest boards, and I see why; they are absolutely adorable and such a versatile piece. This Fashionista claims that she wears them all the time! They can be worn in almost any season, however, pairing them with a sweater and dark wash skinny jeans is one of my favorite looks. The brown booties complement the elbow patches with different shades of brown, a perfect way to tie the two accent pieces of the outfit together. Booties are a great addition to any wardrobe and if you don’t have some already, I suggest investing in them!
