Summer is a time of reflection amidst the craziness that is your life including work, internships and hopefully some fun in between. The most inspiring thing that I’ve noticed this past year and especially this summer, since I have more time to explore, is that our generation is filled with creativity, passion and ingenuity that the world is finally beginning to recognize. With more young designers beginning to emerge and an eye for detail that is creating amazing concept clothes, it’s no wonder that there is a huge movement for supporting emerging designers right now, one that I hope continues. Finding brands that exemplify who you are, whether in general or who you want to be in that moment, with details that show the designer’s care for the line is the basis of fashion and style.
This Fashionisto’s “Survival T-shirt” comes from a new brand called G.O.L.D., created by three innovative college kids who wanted their work to matter: they wanted their clothes to be high quality and still representing what they hold to be true.
