Summer is one of the best seasons because getting dress can become so much easier. With so many sundresses, maxis and rompers to choose from, it is almost impossible to not have anything to wear. They all come in a plethora of fabrics and patterns, which makes picking a favorite the hardest part of the day.
Finding the right dress can be extremely easy if you pick something you want to bring to focus. This Fashionista chose to wear a nice maxi dress that had a basic, but bold color scheme along with simple black sandals. The bright color in between two basics became to focal point that she highlighted with her makeup.
Her dress has a pop of color between both nude and black panels, being the area of attention. Her nude stone accessories contrast and help accentuate the pink, as well as link back with the nude panel of her dress. With such a contrast, the colors seem to pull the eyes upward to the neck detail and her face.
With the help of makeup, there was a bit of color-blocking. A red lip and vibrant pink lip liner gave reason to do a double take. Again, she contrasted colors in order to emphasize her lips. By doing so, her smile was brightened and appeared to match her dress perfectly.
How To: For summer dressing, picking a maxi dress is one of my favorite things to do. Like this Fashionista, I’d go for a nice color scheme or be a bit bold by rocking a pattern. Sripes happen to be my favorite!
