It’s been feeling like an oven outside these past days. The sun has been shining and the perfect accessory for a bright, sunny day is a pair of sunglasses!
I absolutely love sunglasses because of the various shapes, styles and colors they come in. From aviators to wayfarers to cat eyes, there are so many styles suitable for all types of different face shapes. Now, there are so many affordable replicas of designer sunglasses that can be found at stores like Forever 21 and Urban Outfitters.
The sunglasses trend that I’ve been obsessing over lately is the mirrored, reflective one. With its reflective lenses, these shades are an instant eye-catcher. I’ve been seeing these all over, from celebrities to YouTubers to people walking past me in Manhattan. These shades can be dressed down or dressed up adding a touch of cool to every outfit.
I had to photograph this Fashionista because she was sporting these amazing blue mirrored shades. Her outfit was super simple but her sunglasses really stood out. The shape and reflection of her shades gave off a cool vibe, as if she was a rock star. She kept her apparel very neutral in order to let her shades shine with the light. The white palette made her outfit perfect for the summer reflecting off the sun.
How To: Throw on a staple closet piece, a black and white striped top and pair it with some white shorts. Then of course, the most important part are the mirrored sunglasses. Add some jewelry if you want to add even more personality to your look!
