It’s all about the accessories, and you can almost never go wrong with adding a necklace to your outfit. When going out on the town with friends, why not add some accessories to your look and spice it up a bit? This Fashionista is wearing a plain black camisole with a striped skirt. You never want to look “plain,” so by adding a long necklace it can give your look that extra something to make you stand out. This long beaded necklace adds great dimensions to this Fashionista’s look. It draws attention to the look and pieces it together. Layering any kind of jewelry is a quick way to dress up a casual outfit. Try to avoid wearing layered necklaces with patterned outfits, this will take away from your necklace, outfit and could make you look over the top.
There are so many ways you could layer your necklaces. You can do a choker, medium necklace and a long necklace. One of my favorite ways, especially in the fall, is putting on a choker and layering it with the perfect scarf. Or my go-to: adding a long necklace while wearing a plain tank and cardigan. But, if your someone who doesn’t like layering; statement necklaces, earrings, bracelets or even rings are always an option!
Besides necklaces, you can’t ever have too many bracelets. I love building a wrist of all different types of beaded bracelets. Especially when they are about ten dollars each—how do you not buy all of them? When wearing tank tops I feel as if my arms are always naked, so I like to make sure I put on at least a few bracelets before I leave my apartment; it is the perfect way to tie your outfit together!
How To: You can never go wrong with dressing your look up with jewelry and having a accessory-concentrated outfit. Layering the long beaded necklace with a open heart necklace is just another way to take your look to the next level!
