As I was cleaning out my closet, I came across this denim jacket that I haven’t really worn. I got this idea from several fashion magazines to buy patches and put them on the back of the jacket. Patches have been around for decades, but now they are back in style and are unique as ever! Deciding on what patches to buy is very fun and exciting because they have so many to choose from! It’s like you’re designing your own jacket because you make all the decisions.
For my jacket, I really didn’t go with a theme; I just browsed several websites and picked out the ones that stood out to me the most. I chose simple ones such as an eye or french fries and ones that speak to me such as “The Best Things In Life Aren’t Things.” You can get really creative and create a killer jacket!
It also doesn’t have to be on a denim jacket. The trend of denim has always been in style; however, bomber jackets are making their way to the top, if they haven’t already! You can also put some patches on the sleeves as well!
So, from my denim jacket that I had barely worn, I have my OWN unique denim jacket because I styled it the way I liked. It also adds detail to your everyday look! Simple things like patches can go a long way to pull any look together. In reality, you can put patches on anything. It’s your style so get creative with it!
