Patterns are always a tough thing to wear. No one wants to walk out of the house looking like they tried too hard and failed. This Fashionista chose to walk out of her house confident and bold mixing not only patterns but different fabrics too. The details in her outfit are great to look at one by one in each article of clothing in her outfit. Luckily for this Fashionista, she was on point with her different patterns.
This Fashionista chose to show off her fun side with her mix and match patterns. She layered up with flannels, furs, lace, and knits. Her thick wrap-around neck scarf is a DIY project she chose to take on. She enjoys staying relaxed while knitting new projects. She chose to finish off this outfit with the detailed knit. Another small detail you might not notice at first is her lace stocking from Target. They are simple black stockings but if you look close they have striped and flowered patterns running up and down them. The plain white knee-high socks she put on top of the stockings are also from Target. The black and white striped t-shirt dress is from Boohoo. I’m sure many people would think to put these items together, but some might not think to add a blue and tan flannel to this outfit. This flannel is vintage from her grandfather but you can find flannels like this anywhere! On top of these patterns and fabric, she layered a faux fur coat to keep her warm. This jacket is also from Boohoo along with her black chelsea booties. Another small detail to this outfit is her glasses. She got these glasses on Amazon, they might not always be necessary but they do help with the hipster vibe. All of these different patterns and fabrics work great together, expected or not. Focusing in on each item makes you appreciate the outfit all together because it is so unique.
