Hello, you wonderful Fashionistas and Fashionistos. I can’t believe the holiday season is coming to an end and it’s already 2016! A trend I’ve been loving and am still loving has got to be polka-dots. It’s such a versatile print that can bring a pop of personality or if you want to be more bold, you can pair it with another print. I’ve been seeing polka-dots incorporated in many outfits in both girls and guys.
This Fashionisto was spotted in a polka-dot button-down that was paired with a gray cardigan and navy chinos. I personally love polka-dot-printed clothing and accessories, so I was definitely a fan of this outfit. Printed clothing instantly adds more personality to a plain, simple outfit. This Fashionisto’s shirt is not too dramatic, and the polka-dots aren’t overwhelming, so it works if you are trying to be fashionable without being too flashy. By putting together two different shades of blue, the light color of his top paired with the navy chinos made a great color combination. Cardigans are always a nice layer to put on top of an outfit because it can either make an outfit more casual or more dressy depending on what you pair it with. The weather was warm when I captured these photos, but, if it were colder, this Fashionisto could simply throw on a peacoat and a scarf. Then, he’d be ready for a cold, winter day.
