Have you ever wondered, “What can I wear today?” when it’s supposed to rain all day? I’m sure we all have! Probably for some people, the rainy days are the slightly off-days when they dress down a bit. However, for some other Fashionistas/os, these rainy days are counted just as much as a regular, sunny days. In the rain, there a certain things you just can’t wear, such as suede, open-toe shoes, and anything else that would get damaged when wet. Rain makes it a little more challenging to dress as nicely and freely as you may want.
This Fashionisto however, made it look effortless when he walked around campus. I caught him during a period when the rain had just stopped to check out the details of his outfit. He followed a neutral color palette for this rainy day. In the details of this Fashionisto’s outfit, was a poncho T-shirt with a white T-shirt underneath, gray and black plaid joggers, and black Chelsea Hunter boots. He also topped his look off with a tan baseball cap. The fact that he kept his outfit very neutral went along with the gloomy weather but he included some detailed pieces within, which made him stand out. I loved how subtle the look was but there were pieces that I needed to see up close to appreciate even more, such as the plaid pants and the poncho. The plaid pants, I didn’t notice were joggers until I got up close. The poncho T-shirt was just so amazing to me because I had never seen a poncho in a jersey knit material, especially not for men.
These kinds of looks are a bit harder to find and when you do find items like them, you have to buy them quick. So grab some inspiration from this Fashionista to conquer those rainy days!
