Hey CollegeFashionista readers! I am super excited to share with you my recently discovered life goal. After a day of shopping with my mom I have decided that I want to own a treasure shop. You are probably thinking, “What the heck is a treasure shop?” Well, It’s a store where people sell antiques that they have found while traveling. Shopping in them is practically a treasure hunt because the walls are full of artifacts from all over the world. With a love for traveling and antiques, this lifestyle would be a dream. My favorite part about these unique stores is their collection of rings. I could spend hours gazing at all the different stones and crystals. It is always exciting to find a beautiful ring that fits perfectly on your finger and looks great when paired with rings you already have on.
The Fashionista pictured above paired several rings together that she has bought from stores all over the United States. A few of them were even found in treasure shops. They are each unique and more special to her than a ring you can buy in your local department store. I love how she wore a simple outfit that lets the rings be the focus of her look. Even though they are small, the neutrality of the outfit makes them noticeable.
Not only is her ring game on point, but also so is her outfit game. She is wearing destroyed denim that was hand ripped by her sister, who owns a vintage denim Instagram-based company called Maddy Geans. I adore how this Fashionista is all about one-of-a-kind pieces! Her look is perfect for a sunny afternoon with her felt, floppy hat that matches her heeled sandals. Since there is not any patterns or prints to this look, the accessories play the important role of spicing up the outfit!
How To: Stack on all different shapes and sizes of rings on at least six out of ten of your fingers and wear a simple outfit that lets them stand out! Maybe you can even find a treasure shop near you that has plenty of fun rings to chose from. If you can’t, Free People sells a lot of pretty rings that seem to mimic the vintage ones you find in specialty stores!
