The year 2017 is here… and so is winter. Although, the weather tends to have a mind of it’s own. From a temperature range of five degrees to 65 degrees within the first two weeks of January, how does one adjust their wardrobe to be comfortable, yet stylish?
It seems as if most people tend to bundle up and not care about style as much when the temperatures are low. When they get higher in the winter, we usually start to see fall garments and accessories come back out. If I’m being honest, my fall wardrobe is my favorite, as I am sure it is most others favorites as well.
Patterns, earthy tones, and soft textures are all stereotyped to be fall favorites. When it comes to women, it seems as if they are into neutrals like nude, peach, and rose gold. Usually paired with black, this turns into the perfect mixture for a fall/winter outfit. Not only does one look stylish, but is also warm and comfortable. What’s better than looking good and being comfortable?
My Fashionista chose a white, black, and peach colored cape in a tribal print with tassels. This was on top of a white long sleeve shirt. To keep up with the color scheme, she chose black skinny jeans and tan suede bootie heels. As I have heard from many women, bootie heels are a favorite. The women feels confident as most do when they walk in heels, but also very comfortable. For accessories my Fashionista chose a black and gold three-tier choker, and a rose gold Michael Kors watch. Between the peach in the cape and the rose gold watch, it gives the outfit everything it needs to make a girl stand out in the gloomy winter months.
Details are the key to putting an outfit together. One little touch like a rose gold watch can give you the “pop” you need. My advice? Pay attention to the details. Rose gold is in, and it’s here to stay.
