So this week, I took a trip to the most magical place on Earth, and if you don’t know what place I’m referring to, you need to go sit your parents down and have a very serious talk with them about your childhood. Besides running around all the different parks, taking pictures with my favorite princesses and riding everything from the Teacups, to Splash Mountain, I kept my eyes peeled for the best, most creative Fashionista I could find. And there, amongst the sea of girls and boys ranging in ages from two to 92, waiting in line to take pictures with Gaston (from Beauty and the Beast, duh) I found her!
What really caught my eye was the combination of colors and patterns this Fashionista mixed together. While in Disney World, it’s not uncommon to see people wearing “Mickey ears,” and usually I’m not the biggest fan of them, but she used them to pull her whole look together and it worked fabulously! The hot pink headband naturally draws your attention down to her adorable, floral patterned two-piece set. This is the perfect thing to wear while walking around the parks all day. Florida in the summertime tends to be really hot and humid, and her outfit allows her to stay cool and comfortable. To accessorize and to carry everything she could possibly need while being in a park all day long, she carries a tan fringed backpack. Not only is it chic, it is practical too. Obviously this look is meant to be whimsical, and she kept that theme going all the way down to her feet. Instead of choosing no-show socks, or a plain white, boring pair, she chose to do hot pink and white stripes. Are you ready for my favorite part? Just look at those sneakers! That’s right, she’s wearing Vans ‘Authentic Disney®’ Sneaker. They feature all of the original Disney princesses on them, which include Cinderella, Aurora, Belle, Jasmine, Snow White and Arielle. And if you love Disney, you need them.
How To: Want to recreate this look? It won’t be that easy, but you can try. First find the cutest, most colorful co-ord set there is. Next, get some comfortable shoes. Yes, us Fashionistas want to look trendy, but walking all day in something that is too flat, or too heeled, will have you in tears by the end of the night. Finally, accessorize! Choose your favorite Disney headband, hat or bag, and you’re sure to have the most magical day ever!
