Warm weather has finally arrived in Athens, Ohio! Well, for now, at least—I wouldn’t be surprised if it snowed tomorrow! Because Ohio weather is so unpredictable, it’s extremely hard finding the perfect outfit for the day. The walk to class in the morning is quite chilly, but you’ll find yourself burning up on the walk home.
I came across this Fashionista on my way to class, and I absolutely loved her simple yet eye-catching look. I find that the best way to stay warm in the mornings and cooler in the afternoons is to wear distressed jeans, just like this Fashionista. The distressed look allows for a cool breeze to travel through the denim, ensuring you’ll be kept cool. I don’t see many belts around campus, however this Fashionista paired a denim-like ribbon belt from FH Wadsworth to her look and rocked it! To add to the look, this Fashionista added a simple, yet dressy white top that is paired perfectly with the belt. What better way to top off this simple look than by adding a pair of gladiator sandals. These sandals are extremely popular on campus due to the versatility of them—they go well with almost anything! This is such an easy look that is perfect for class, but also able to be dressed up for a night on the town—add some accessories and you are ready to go!
It is crazy to me that this semester is coming to an end. It feels like it was just yesterday that I was moving into my own house, and now I find myself slowly packing up my room. My advice to you all is to finish strong. We have worked so hard to get to where we are today. Just a couple more weeks stand between us and a relaxing summer with friends and family. All of the stress we are about to endure will all be worth it in the long-run. Finish strong–in style, of course!
