We are officially back into the swing of things on campus! My days relaxing at the pool are dwindling as due dates, meetings and activities are quickly filling up my calendar. Mother Nature, on the other hand, is not ready to give up her summer. It has been so hot the past few weeks! To everyone showing up to class dripping in sweat: you are not alone! Dressing for this weather can be a struggle when bathing suits and cover-ups are no longer an option. So, of course, I looked to my fellow Fashionistas on campus for a little inspiration on how to beat the heat and still look put together.
I have found that focusing on smaller details, like a unique denim wash or an accessory, can really pull an outfit together. This Fashionista kept it simple with a basic black T-shirt to feature the destruction on her denim. However, her neutral sneaker with snake print leather is what really pulls this whole outfit together. The taupe shoe allows her to play with other colors in her accessories, like her wristlet and bangles. When you are out looking for the perfect sneaker for your wardrobe, I would try sticking with a neutral color like this Fashionista did. Fringe, animal print and laser cuts are huge trends that you will find with shoes this season. As you can see, the piping and the snakeskin print make these shoes a statement piece.
