The weather is finally turning from gloomy, cloudy days to bright and sunny, and I could not be any happier. It’s time to come out of winter hibernation and actually spend time outside without freezing to near hypothermia. There’s nothing I despise more than cold weather. Besides the horrible cold, I find myself wearing the same things and lose the drive to style myself in the morning.
However, with this warmer weather comes a whole new set of clothes to choose from. No more bulky winter coats or dreadful snow boots on the way to class. No more constant long sleeves and long pants. Spring fever is finally in the air, and I’ve caught it hard.
As I stepped outside my dorm room this morning I spotted this fellow Fashionista with the perfect outfit for the want-to-be spring weather. She was wearing cut-off jeans and a lightweight button-up blouse. She paired it with black booties and a black leather jacket.
I think the small details in the outfit are what make it so great. The cut-off jeans with extra fringe are such an eye catcher. The ankle boots with a pop of skin showing is also one of my favorite looks at the moment. The half tucked in blouse gives a sense of ease but also looks super chic. To top it all off, the small necklace is a nice bit of shine that shows from under the collar. This outfit really is all in the details. It’s often the little things that make the most difference.
