Some of my favorite accessory trends include chokers and layered jewelry. I absolutely love the look of a bundle of necklaces, bracelets or rings stacked upon each other. It can be difficult finding a few necklaces that fit nicely together, but I think pairing jewelry with completely different pendants and designs is what makes the layering trend unique and fun! I found a Fashionista on my campus that illustrates this trend perfectly.
Jewelry in the summer is a necessity to adding that bold detail to a plain and simple outfit. This Fashionista wears some comfy shorts with a slightly cropped shirt from Brandy Melville. The outfit is so simple and comfortable for a hot summer day but she then adds two necklaces, some arm candy and a pair of adorable rounded sunglasses to spice it up a bit!
I love the way her necklaces are completely different designs and materials, however, they complement each other completely. Also, layering necklaces goes well with a high neckline tank top because you don’t have to worry about the necklaces getting hidden behind your loose fitted shirt. She then pairs her gorgeous Michael Kors watch with a simple silver bracelet to complete the look.
