Hi there, Fashionistas! Greetings from Sydney, Australia. What beautiful autumn weather we have been having lately. Yes, I did say autumn! When it is summer back in Chicago, it is completely opposite weather here in the “Land Down Under.” They are actually approaching winter season, but I would trade 75-degree autumn weather over the low 50s back in the Windy City any day. What do you enjoy wearing in warm weather?
Being blessed with warm and sunny weather means being able to show off those cute outfits without wearing all those layers and hiding it! This Fashionista was spotted in downtown Sydney. I love light and neutral colors, but I adore accessories even more. It is very important to any outfit to accessorize; you can dress it up and you can dress it down. From head to toe, every detail matters. Whether it is a cute pair of sunglasses, a purse or multiple rings like this Fashionista’s, all of these accessories are a staple in my closet.
This Fashionista was able to dress up this basic three-piece outfit by adding a few rings, bracelets and curling her hair. Because shopping and stores are a little different here than the U.S., she was able to tell me a couple of her favorite stores. For example, her adorable, nude colored top she had layered over her white top was from the boutique Little JC. Prices are very affordable, and they sell very cute accessories!
How To: I challenge you to wear an accessory you never usually wear. Chances are that the look will grow on you. For those of you who don’t wear accessories, start off with something simple. A necklace is a good place to start, even if you choose a simple necklace; it adds a “dramatic” effect to your outfit!
