Spring weather is in the air! The time has finally come when my favorite trend is making its way back into season—the military jacket. A military jacket is undoubtedly the ultimate topper for any outfit. Evidently, this Fashionista was just as excited as I was to finally step outside in an unzipped jacket without having to worry about bundling up in infinite layers.
A simple beige sweater and black leggings were the starting points of her look. By matching beige combat boots with the sweater and slipping on the army green jacket, she embraced the gradual arrival of spring, while happily waving goodbye to her over-worn winter apparel. We both noticed that she wasn’t the only one sporting the military look that day; numerous students, guys and girls alike, were hopping around in their own light jackets, equally enjoying the sun beaming down on their faces. The aviator sunglasses were the simplest and most apparent way to relay the “I am ready for this new weather and I am seriously done with snow” message.
How To: To get this look for yourself, simply slide on a pair of basic black leggings and any neutral colored top. Adding a military jacket on top has the ability to spice up any look in an edgy and trendy way. If it’s a sunny day outside, choose a pair of sunglasses based off of what type of vibe you want to give off that day. Aviators are always a safe option to complete any look.
