Classes may have started, but it still feels like summer here in New York. It’s time to take advantage of this weather and wear our favorite sandals, shorts and dresses while we still can.
This Fashionista took advantage of this sunny day by wearing a patterned romper and some awesome accessories. Her outfit first caught my eye because of the vibrant colors within the pattern of her romper. It had a unique mix of paisley, floral and diamond prints all stitched together in a way that resembled the quilts my grandmother used to make.
Taking a closer look, I noticed all the different details that really made this outfit come together. The neutral color of her wide brim hat balances out all the colors within the pattern of her clothing. My favorite part of this outfit is the vintage belt that has a unique engraving in its metal buckle. The belt gave me a Western vibe and it complemented the romper really well to make the overall style boho-chic. She incorporated more touches of metal into her look with her jewelry and the buckles of her shoes and hat.
Even though the pattern of the romper is the first thing anyone would notice about this look, it’s the little details that really bring the outfit together. The best part of this look is that most of these items were thrifted for a very affordable price. This goes to show that you don’t always have to spend a lot to look good.
Sometimes accessories are the stars of an outfit, so paying attention to details is really important. Having a keen eye will also help out when you are on the hunt for the best items and deals at thrift shops.
