Spring has sprung and it is finally time to pull out the very vast collection of wedges and sandals that I know all of us Fashionistas/os have hidden away. Say goodbye and good riddance to the boots and booties we love but are oh so tired of by now. The spring weather has already been one for the books and our newly sun kissed, spring break skin deserves to walk around in some killer summery shoes. And although our fabulous spring break time has come and gone, why not take on the end of the semester with a great attitude and an even better outfit? Summer is right around the corner and my closet is going to be my constant reminder of how close I am to freedom during this month of final exams and group projects.
This Fashionista is the perfect example of what we all have to look forward to. Warm weather, beachy shoes and pretty white dresses. A comfortable white cotton dress is a staple during this time of the year. Not only can you strut around campus like this Fashionista did while looking fabulous and feeling great, but you can also transform it into a beach cover-up when summer rolls around. Who doesn’t love a versatile solid white dress to play with in the summer? And that is not even the best part. Since the white dress is so easy to pair with anything, this Fashionista chose a super RAD pair of wedges that tie up around the ankle. This trend is so fun and is especially adorable to wear with dresses. The outfit becomes complete by adding the shoes because they are just the right hue of blue to bring a good amount of color to a casual white dress. And to top it off, these wedges have tassels at the end of their laces to make them even more fun and cute.
This Fashionista completes her look with a few beaded bracelets and a watch. The theme of the whole outfit is very simple with a little pop of color in the shoe.
How To: Don’t be afraid to pair a bold shoe with a simple dress. It is the perfect time of year to do just that. All you need to do is grab that staple dress in your closet and pick a RAD pair of wedges to star as the centerpiece of your outfit.
