As I write this, the blizzard that has been officially named Juno, is claiming everything outside my window. Classes have been canceled, and I have been sitting here watching New Girl for longer than I should have. I’m also a little disappointed because why can’t Julie be the name of the storm? Anyway, if you are planning on running out to grab a few necessities, you’re going to need a scarf.
A warning: I have a slight obsession with infinity scarves like the one this Fashionista is wearing. My mother crochets them all the time, providing me with an insurmountable option of coziness before I go out into the cold.
I love that this Fashionista wore her knit scarf with her knit sweater! The color of her scarf is so dreamy. I’m going to say it: gray is the new black in 2015. It goes with everything without providing such a harsh look. I also adore her sweater. The sweater is a different knit pattern than her scarf, providing a textural element to her outfit.
This Fashionista told me about all the trouble she had to go through to get her kate spade bag. The wait totally seems worth it to me! I love the leather and zipper components of the bag that make it look cool and practical for class or a day spent in town!
How To:Â This look is perfect for running errands, heading to the library or even brunch with friends! Start off with black jeans or jeggings if you prefer, add a knit sweater and throw on a knit scarf with a different stitch. Don’t forget to throw on your snow shoes, just in case you run into anyone who asks you to build a snowman.
