One of my favorite things about fashion is seeing the new trends and styles that pop up throughout the years. Trends can return from the past and make their debut again (which isn’t always a good thing), or they can be completely new and unique. While keeping up with the latest fashion trends is not a necessity, it is fun to see how people get creative with them and make them their own.
This Fashionista paired a couple of trends that have made their debut to the fashion scene recently. The bomber jacket and the cold shoulder top have been quite popular this past year. This Fashionista did a perfect job of taking some statement pieces and making them work together perfectly. She chose to layer her cold-shoulder sweater underneath a patterned bomber jacket. Pairing an article of clothing with a pattern on it can really make your outfit stand out in the crowd. She is also wearing a dainty gold bar necklace to add a simple accessory to her look. Another great thing about this bomber jacket is that it is reversible! The other side of the jacket is plain black. Having an article of clothing that is reversible can double your outfit options and allow you to get even more creative with your combinations.
Not everyone thinks that the cold shoulder top is a practical choice, especially in the colder months. It’s kind of like when you go over to your grandparent’s house while wearing ripped jeans and they ask you if you meant to buy them like that. You can’t please everyone!
