For as long as I can remember, I always have enjoyed accessorizing the outfits I wear everyday. In addition, I thoroughly love finding great bargains in vintage shops and bohemian style clothing stores so I search out these items, wherever I may be at the time. I usually wear neutral colors everyday so I love making a statement with the jewelry I wear. Moreover, whether it be chokers, unique earrings, or silver bangles, it has always been my favorite part of styling outfits. One of my favorite stones is turquoise and I love to wear turquoise with almost everything I wear. It makes a bold statement with the bright color but it is not overpowering and that is why I love accessorizing with the blue-green precious stone.
This Fashionista’s outfit is the perfect summer day ensemble. She sports a faux fur short sleeve top from Free People, then threw on a pair of denim cut off shorts, with a unique pattern on the garment, from Abercrombie & Fitch. For shoes she wore a pair of Joie sandals and this particular designer usually sells for most seasons. Finally, since she is wearing a neutral top she decided to add a shot of color with turquoise. Specifically, this Fashionista wore a turquoise cuff with gold and nude detailing. To also add more turquoise to the outfit, she wore a simple pair of stud earrings. Lastly, like many other Fashionista’s out there she wore a nude choker from India Hicks.
How To: Never really liked the statement necklace trend but still want to be bold with accessorizing? Try wearing turquoise jewelry! Just be sure to wear neutral colors with it. That way the jewelry is the main focus of the outfit.
