I have officially found my latest obsession—vintage frames! I recently purchased a pair of vintage sunglasses and my accessory game has changed for good. I feel that with vintage looks, whether it be colored aviator frames, ’70s circular oversized fabulosity or clubmaster style like the ones featured above—there is something that looks good on everyone. This is a quick easy way to add instant style to a simple outfit or basic hair-do, proving you’re on top of the latest trends.
The retro frame trend has been seen everywhere from magazines to the runway, Gigi and Bella Hadid are constantly spotted in yellow-colored lens aviators. I am such a strong purveyor of accessories because they dress up any look and can capture a decade in such a simple way. You can immediately take your look from ’60s to ’90s to totally modern in one swift sunglass change.
This gorgeous look is completed with a simple peacoat and loafers, a further nod to vintage style. I have been following loafers since seeing the most beautiful pair of Chanel loafers and now it is as if I can’t stop seeing them everywhere! I know we’ve all seen the fur Gucci loafers taking over Instagram, proving them to be quite noteworthy. The whole look is not only effortless but gives the best ’70s vibes without being over the top, which is a difficult feat to tackle. Creating a look that is a strong ode to a particular decade without being too bold or in your face is a great style challenge to try and tackle with your next outfit.
I am voting vintage frames as the most “Instagrammable” trend of the moment!
