“As we live a life of ease/ Every one of us has all we need/ Sky of blue and sea of green/ In our yellow submarine.” These are the words that came to my mind when I saw this Fashionista walking around campus. Her eye-catching style had me amazed. I went up to her and told her how cool her outfit looked and asked for a few pictures. As I was capturing her style she told me she’s studying international business and, surprise, her name is just as unique as her style. Talk about originality now.
Let me tell you a few things I love about her #RAD outfit: the day was kind of cloudy and this jacket was the greatest response to that. That jacket. Not to be surprised that it’s the heart of the look, pumping authenticity. But what I like the most of her look isn’t her jacket (which is jaw-dropping), but how well she’s combined it with the other garments which work as complements of it.
First things first, the baseball cap. Our parents warned us about how the sun damages the skin and this Fashionista is making a huge shout out to them by wearing this key accessory.
What about the burgundy choker? Let’s just remark the intelligent decision of wearing two trends in one: velvet and chokers. Bold move, Fashionista.
Let’s not forget the socks over tights. We’ve seen this trend worn by many bloggers who follow in the steps of high fashion. I personally didn’t think someone “real” could pull off this in vogue set. She does, and she does it in a very laid-back way which doesn’t make her look overdressed.
Okay, maybe I’m fan-girling a little too hard on her look but, how gracefully combined are her phone case, nail color, bag, and pompom? (Not to mention her hair color, which is gorgeous). Those neutral and quartz tones look elegant and stylish yet don’t minimize the importance of the jacket.
Her outfit has been a friendly reminder about the importance of accessories and, clearly, of building your own personal style.
