Dressing for a morning of classes or a day at your internship can get pretty tiresome. However, when you have to confine your fashion decisions to what will be appropriate at the office or in front of your professors, choosing an outfit can often become a nuisance.

She explained to me that tank tops are totally acceptable at her company, but they may not be at other organizations, so it’s better to be safe than sorry.

While an all-black get up can sometimes seem boring or mundane, adding a bright lip color can really make a statement. It instantly brings her outfit from plain to chic, and it doesn’t actually require much additional effort or thought.
I usually only think of wearing bright lip colors at night, but when done in the right way, they can be a really fun way to spice up your makeup for the day time. And not to mention, they can also spice up all your basic outfits, so dressing for your internship doesn’t have to be a chore. The key is to keep the rest of your makeup relatively simple to avoid looking overdone or clown-like. This Fashionista added mascara and a light layer of bronzer, and that was about it.
