While we are still in the midst of the “winter blues,” swiping on a dramatic liquid lipstick is one way to boost your spirits and turn heads when the only thing students are focused on is escaping the freezing temperatures and scurrying back into their dorms. It is also an incredibly easy way to make yourself look more put together in the mornings when you wake up late for your eight a.m. class.
This Fashionista’s look was very winter-chic, and she is no stranger to wrapping herself in a blanket scarf to add extra “oomph” to her outfit. These thick, cozy scarves will keep you warm all day long, and I love how the basic black and white complements the fuchsia lip! This is a great way to tie all of the details together in your outfit. Her distressed jeans gave this look a edgy vibe, which is a fun way to spruce up a boring pair of blue jeans on a cold winter day.
The rest of her makeup is easily achievable. To recreate her flawless, glowy skin, use a full coverage foundation. She also framed her face and kept it focused on the lips by filling in her eyebrows. Her natural eye shadow keeps the drama on the lips but still accentuates her big, green eyes. The trick to a bright, bold lip is to not overwhelm the rest of your face with hundreds of products, and to line your lips to create a stencil for when you apply your favorite shade. This Fashionista definitely inspired me to start taking more risks when it comes to wearing makeup to class!
