BEAUTY BAR: Bronze Beauty

As the semester comes to a close, we’re all looking for a way to ease up our schedules. Whether that be trying to fit a nap in any chance you get or, yes, falling short on your beauty routine. There are times when all of us, even the biggest Fashionistas, think of just putting our hair up and forgetting about it. Maybe you throw on a quick makeup look because you’re about to be late for class. But just because your schedule is a mess, doesn’t mean your looks have to be. This Fashionista took the opportunity in her busy schedule to make her makeup shine.

Playing with neutral shades this Fashionista matches her outfit with her makeup look. Saying it best herself, “your makeup should complement your whole outfit.” The navy polka-dot jeans paired with her simple top is chic and polished, appropriately coupled with her choice of cosmetics. I think this makeup look is suitable for summertime, which is just around the corner, because it hones in on neutral and bronze hues to add to that bronze skin that everyone gets (or hopes to get, for those of us who are on the fair side of the spectrum). It is also good for the end of the semester, because while everyone else is going au naturale, you can stand out while still being simple with your routine.

What’s on the BEAUTY BAR: Starting with the eyes, our Fashionista uses the Urban Decay Naked Palette for her eyelids. Then for the mascara, Make Up For Ever Smoky Extravagant Mascara. For the bronzer she uses Benefit Hoola bronzer, and Benefit Coralista Blush for a touch of color. Her matte lip color is Gerard Cosmetics hydra matte liquid lipstick in Everything Nice. Liquid lipstick is ideal for the theme of this look, because with only one coat it applies effortlessly. What more could you ask for!
