Unless you’re taking summer classes, the spring semester is over. For college students, it means one thing only: summer is here! The beginning of hotter weather is my favorite because to me, summer means easy and comfortable style that looks good without trying too hard. If laid back is your style, summer is most likely your favorite season. Comfy clothing such as oversize T-shirts, jersey dresses, and overalls make summer the best season for fashion.
In the summer, I also like to keep my beauty to a minimum. Sweaty, uncomfortable makeup makes for a horrible summer night out. Instead, I like to keep things fresh, airy, and light. I look for brands that boast lightweight, oil-free, and matte formulas.
May is usually the month where you can expect an 80-degree day and a 60-degree night. This Fashionista made sure to keep things simple and comfy with a band T-shirt, leggings, and a versatile, lightweight jacket. The jacket is light enough to be tied around your waist during the day but also gives you an added layer of warmth on those chilly nights. To finish the look, she paired the outfit with classic high-top sneakers.
To minimize heat damage in the summer, i like to keep things as natural as possible. This Fashionista let her bouncy curls out on this sunny day. Her makeup was kept simple with a small amount of CC cream with SPFÂ and clear lip gloss.
This Fashionista’s early summer outfit is easily made up of things we all have in our closets. It is comfortable, cool, and most of all. simple. We’ll save our over-the-top outfits for music festivals.
