The intense summertime heat is every Fashionista’s worst enemy when it comes to hair. There is nothing worse than curling your hair just right, to then going outside for it to fall flat in a matter of seconds. All of those long, tedious hours spent accidentally burning your fingers with a curling iron were for absolutely nothing. Frizzy hair and sweat aren’t enjoyable. This problem becomes an ongoing occurrence in the humid weather, but I stumbled across a Fashionista with the ultimate solution.
This Fashionista put her hair in two French braids. Braids are cute and playful but still super trendy. The best part is, is that you don’t even need anything to get this look, just some hands and hairbands. It’s the best go-to summer hairstyle, especially if you’re in a rush or just want to get your hair out of your face for a little bit.
To complement the laid back hairstyle, this Fashionista wore a tiered dress, white high-top Converse sneakers, a choker necklace and some Ray-Ban Wayfarer sunglasses. The dress was light, flowy and printed with a fun pattern, making it absolutely irresistible. The Converse sneakers were pure white (a bold statement color for the summer season). To pull the look together was the added ‘90s style choker with a cute sun charm attached ,and some Wayfarers for a little retro feel.
Prevent frizzy hair and epic styling fails with some easy French braids this summer. Sweat and frizz will have nothing on you.
What’s on the BEAUTY BAR? To get this look, start off with an anti-humidity milk to tame the frizz, like this one from Garnier Fructis. Apply that to damp hair. Afterwards, comb out any tangles using a Wet Brush and then blow-dry hair until dry. Once your hair is completely dry, create a part down the middle and begin to French braid on one side of the head. Do the same on the other side. If braiding isn’t your strong point, watch a YouTube tutorial for helpful tips and tricks.
