Spring has finally sprung upon on us, my fellow Fashionistas! The weather is getting warmer (depending on where you live), and it’s about time to retire that heavy coat and break out all the sandals. Aside from all the fun florals and pretty pastels, one of my favorite things about spring is the makeup. It’s the time of the year to add some bright and fun colors into the mix, whether it’s on your lips or your eyes! One thing is for sure though, the glow is in for spring (and every other season). Dewy looking skin is a must-try spring beauty trend, and my Fashionista is the perfect example of how to make this trend work from day to day!
For her makeup look, my Fashionista decided to keep it simple with fresh dewy skin, winged liner, and a neutral lip. To achieve this type of look, she used a makeup sponge to blend in her foundation and concealer and on set her T-zone with powder. If you want to bring some color back into the face, cream products are the way to go. So, after foundation and concealer, go in with cream bronzer, blush, and last but certainly not least, highlighter.
Sometimes I like to give myself a natural glow so I apply MAC’s strobe cream before my foundation to give my skin that extra hydration and glow. To finish off the look, all you would need to do is throw on a few coats of mascara and a lip color. With fresh skin, the lip color options are literally endless!
