I spotted this Fashionista strolling along, confidently to class. My favorite part about her look, when asked was the fact that she was wearing heels and a skirt. Unfortunately, I think nowadays many people consider it odd to dress up, unless there is a particular reason. Rather than being questioned why one decides to wear fancier clothes in a relaxed setting, it should be looked upon in positive light!
I loved how the outfit was simple, yet interesting. By choosing a neutral color pallet with blacks and nude, it gave the outfit a natural flow. My favorite piece of the look was the loose, nude, cowl neck sweater because of its muted tone and shape. She decided to pair the top with a very simple, black circle skirt. The skirt not only added a sense of femininity, but also created movement. Don’t forget the accessories! To top the look off she grabbed a pair of large, black sunglasses, a silver circle necklace, and a pair of black, suede ankle booties!
Another reason I stopped this Fashionista was because of her radiating, peach makeup. On her skin she choose to stick with a light BB cream, which gave her a tinted, fresh look but also kept her hydrated through the harsh Midwest weather. On the cheeks, she has a peachy nude shade paired with a matte, peach lip tint, to brighten her face. On the eyes she kept it simple and natural by using a cool toned beige in the crease and a chestnut color on the outer edge.
