When it comes to putting on makeup, we have heard this rule over and over again—play up your eyes or play up your lips. I personally always try to follow this rule because, if done correctly, it can really make you stand out.
This Fashionista was pulling off this look so effortlessly that you could not help but notice her. Her outfit was easy going and athletic, but still looked modern and cool, especially combined with her makeup and hair. She was wearing black leggings, which looked super comfortable, and paired them with gray Nike sneakers. She wore a green parka that kept the look casual and sporty. I also loved the fact that her hair was dyed a faded purple, which added another dimension to the overall look.
Even though her outfit was filled with blacks, grays and other neutrals, her bold plum lip and her purple hair helped add a pop of color to the ensemble. She started with a light foundation for coverage and then added just a touch of blush to get those rosy cheeks. She kept her eyes simple with just a thin coat of eyeliner and mascara to lengthen her lashes. To complete her beauty look, she went with a bold purple lip that was actually achieved by mixing two different lip colors together. The colors used to get her lip color were a neon shade of purple mixed with a dark brown matte lipstick.
