Summertime is a season of many beauties. It is the perfect time of the year to chill out, not stress the small things and curate the most beautiful you by soaking up the sun and rocking your most natural hair. Last week while dining out at one of Indianapolis’ top restaurants Bru Burger Bar, I ran into this Fashionista and immediately fell in love with her hair and overall style. Her hair was healthy, luscious, full and so incredibly collected for the 90 degree weather we were out sitting in. Her makeup was natural and outfit was simplistic. In every way possible this girl was just killing it.
I meet so many women who spend hours in the morning curling their hair only to get frustrated when they step outside and witness their beautiful creation go up in the dead heat of the summer. I don’t know how she does it but this Fashionista has obviously curated a master plan for keeping her hair calm and collected in spite of the humidity. If you see her out and have a moment, I would absolutely recommend you asking what her secret is because it is impeccable.
Her look seemed so effortless yet incredibly structured and intentional. I loved how she highlighted her eyes with the dark eyeliner while complementing her rosy cheeks with a blush lipstick. The mixture of darkness with a light highlight really brought out her natural beauty and sun kissed skin. I’m not quite sure where she was headed but she looked absolutely flawless and is ready to take on whatever the day brings.
What’s on the BEAUTY BAR: To complete this look you need a matte lip stain and felted black eyeliner. Make sure to focus the eyeliner on the upper lid instead of the inner lid and to keep the lipstick light to give your overall look a neutral finish. If you are feeling extraordinary I recommend adding in a highlighter to your cheekbones to accentuate your features and really bring out your bone structure.
