I’ll be honest, I’m obsessed with makeup. I’m pretty sure all my money goes towards college tuition and Sephora, no joke. It’s no wonder this Fashionista’s look caught my eye. Try as I might, I just don’t have time for contouring and intricate eye looks before class, so I’m always on the hunt for makeup looks that will get me out the door a little faster in the morning.
This Fashionista’s makeup is perfect for class. She looks flawless without looking too done up for an 8:00 a.m. lecture. It’s light and natural, revolving around neutral colors. The focus in this look is the eyes. She started with a sweep of light brown shadow across the lid. The pop of white shadow in the inner corners, along with white eye liner on the water line, really helps open the eyes and make them look more awake, so you can easily hide the fact that you only got three hours of sleep last night. Also, this Fashionista is rocking winged liner. She’s also wearing a couple layers of mascara in order to get long, voluminous lashes (Oh, hey there, cute boy in art history *bats eyelashes*). She finished off the look with bold brows, which are basically a must in every makeup look now. Feel free to add concealer where it’s needed or dust on a translucent powder to keep shine away.
What’s on the BEAUTY BAR: To achieve this look, you need a neutral eye palette, a white eye liner, a black eye liner, a volumizing mascara, a brow pencil and a concealer. Play around, experiment and make the look your own.
