As a lipstick enthusiast, I can say that fall and winter colors are my all-time favorite. Ask any of my friends and they’ll let you know about my lipstick hoarding obsession—it’s serious. I just feel like lipstick can change a look from day to night, sweet to sassy and simple to fabulous. Don’t you agree?
Most people think that winter calls for bold, dark lips and vampy vibes. While I agree with this, you cannot deny the power of mauve. This Fashionista agreed with me and accomplished the perfect winter beauty look with a touch of mauve on her lips.
A lot of us don’t have time to get ready in the mornings. A schedule consisting of waking up late and running to class doesn’t really call for a full-face beauty routine. However, this Fashionista proved us wrong by achieving a fresh and fabulous look in just a few easy steps.
As far as her outfit goes, she started with a denim mini skirt, which I love because it’s one of those items that’s a blast from the past. She paired it with a beige crop top and some black, cut-out sandals. For a touch of color, she threw on a rust-colored, cross-body bag. Now on to her easy-to-do beauty routine; she kept it simple with a couple coats of mascara, blush on the cheeks for color in her face and a bold swipe of Nude Nuance by Maybelline.
For me, the beauty department in my local drugstore is my haven. There is nothing better than picking up a new tube of lipstick and trying it out for a night on the town.
