If you use social media, you would know just how much makeup and beauty routines are posted and closely followed by millions of cosmetic fanatics. Fall is the season for dark eyes and lips, matte faces and the oh-so-fun Halloween looks in the world of makeup. As I, myself, am a follower of the latest trends in makeup, I love spotting a fresh fall beauty look.
This Fashionista shows off the perfect fall makeup look around campus that represents her style throughout October, arguably the most festive month of fall. To achieve this look, she uses brown tones on her eyes to create a natural smokey eye. Adding emphasis to her eyes, she creates a cat-eye with a precise black liquid eyeliner. This is one of the most versatile eye makeup looks there is. By pairing her perfectly blended neutral smokey eye with a dark lip, she transformed her look into a fall staple. This Fashionista combines two of her favorite lipsticks to create this brownish mauve tone she shows off on her lips. One of her favorite tips on face makeup is to contrast a clean matte face with a bold highlight on her cheeks. Highlighting brings a glow to your face while still keeping the rest of it perfectly matte.
This Fashionista’s makeup complements her autumn aesthetic she sports in her outfit. Her tan bodysuit, black buttoned skirt and low black booties create a simple yet bold look that calls for some bold accessories. Her combination of a leather choker and black crystal pendant necklace adds emphasis on her neckline, which naturally draws your eyes to her face and makeup. Adding to her trendy outfit she adds a black fur vest that combats the fall chill and adds an element to soften her look.
Some products this Fashionista used include the adored Kylie Cosmetics Kyshadow Bronze Palette, Dolce liquid lipstick and Urban Decay lipstick in the color Uptight. She says that even if you have blue eyes, don’t be afraid to go bold and dark with your eye makeup! Be sure to balance your eye look with the color of your lips. She also states that adding a cat-eye is never a bad idea to open your eyes, especially if they are a light color.
Be bold this fall and never be afraid to try a new look!
