As we near another season change, it’s the perfect time to start switching up your makeup routine. If you’re anything like me, you get stuck in a makeup rut where you’re doing the same thing over and over. Don’t get me wrong, I love my go-to looks, but it’s always fun to test out some of the new makeup trends out there (and have an excuse for a Sephora trip!).
There are so many beauty trends right now, but lately I’ve been loving the all over blushed look! Dusty pink cheeks complete with matching eye shadow and lip stick. This sweet yet sophisticated look will have you turning heads before spring starts. Plus this look is super simple to create; all you really need is light pink eye shadow, blush, and lipgloss! If you want to take it to the next level you can use a cream shadow to give you a fresher, more dewy effect.
Steal this look in just a couple quick steps: first start with setting the lid and brow bone with a light cream color. Next go in with a warm brown shade and blend it in the crease of your eye. Then sweep a light pink shadow all over your lid, and after that go in with a brighter pink on the outer V of the eye and blend everything together (tip: double your blush as eye shadow to save a little cash!). Finish off the eyes by adding more pink to your lid and some champagne shadow in the center to add some shimmer!
Finally sweep some pale pink blush along your cheeks and add some gold toned highlighter. Line and fill your lips with a lipstick shade similar to your eyeshadow and you’re done! If your planning on transitioning this day time look into a date night or a girl’s night out, just add some black winged liner and mascara. This simple addition will really make that pink color pop!
