As college students, we’re naturally busy. It’s hard not to be when we’re constantly balancing class, work, hobbies, friends, family and sleep. But, let’s be real, have we ever let our busy schedule get in the way of a Friday night out? Of course not! Although Fridays can be hectic, we rush to get ready for a fun night out after a long week.
Transforming a comfy class look into a party look can take time. This is why I always prefer a makeup look that translates easily from day to night. This rose gold eye is perfect for a daytime to nighttime transition. Although the cat eye and false lashes are intense, the light shimmery eye helps to soften the look and make it more wearable for during the day. The look says feminine with an edge, and pairs well with any eye color!
Extra busy this Friday? If you don’t have time to create the perfect winged eyeliner, or if you simply want a more casual look, just stick with regular liner and skip the lashes! Your shimmery eyes will still pop and you can always add some lashes later on.
What’s on the BEAUTY BAR: For your own rose gold eye, all you need is the right eyeshadow and some black eyeliner! This Fashionista chose to create the rose color on her lid with the Venus eyeshadow palette from Lime Crime and the shimmery gold color by adding shadow from the Naked Smoky palette on top. She used black Maybelline eyeliner to create her dramatic cat eye and added some false eyelashes from Eylure for extra drama.
