There is that one hairstyle trend that keeps making its’ way back on the top hair charts. This look is sometimes called the high-ponytail, the waterfall ponytail or currently the Ariana Grande ponytail. Whatever the name you give this look it has been worn in the ’60s, ’80s, 2000s and the now 21st century. This particular Fashionista paired her luscious locks with a pretty in pink shirt and denim jeans. This hair trend can make a person look innocent and sweet or a little bit rock n’ roll.
It is so easy to get stuck in the daily routine of throwing your hair up in to a messy bun. This hair-do can be the perfect finishing touch to a multitude of outfits. My personal favorite is to put on a Gypsy Warrior top. Then pair that shirt with some black shorts or denim jeans so the look can become the outfit of the day or night. This stylish Fashionista complemented her waterfall ponytail with a light pink top from Forever 21 and a little bit of sass, making this the perfect look for her.
What’s on the BEAUTY BAR: The best part about this hair trend is how easy it is to style. Take your handy dandy ponytail holder and put half of your hair up in a high ponytail. This particular Fashionista took a Hot Tools 1 1/2″ curling iron to loosely curl the hair. She started off by curling the bottom half of her lovely locks and then moved to the pieces in her ponytail. To make this look even more chic wrap a small piece of hair around the ponytail holder to cover it. Do not forget to use bobby pins to keep the hair in place. Maybe you want to throw in some colored bobby pins too!
