There’s no such thing as having too much lipstick. Lipstick is my holy grail makeup product; it’s my favorite part of the primping process. There’s just something about applying lipstick that gives an added touch of confidence to any look. Plus, it’s the best accessory to a smile!
I spotted this Fashionista rockin’ the cleanest pair of white Converse All-Stars I’ve ever seen with a gray graphic T-shirt and a burgundy A-line skirt. Though this look is trendy, her lipstick is what really caught my eye. It’s pretty clear that Lil Mama would have to agree that her lipstick is cool, her lipstick be poppin’!
I love how this Fashionista chose to downplay the rest of her makeup in order to rock a bold lip color. This color is a great alternative to the classic red lipstick that every girl owns. Try to spice it up by applying a deeper shade, like wine or burgundy. She also matched her lipstick to the color of her skirt, another trend alert! Follow in her footsteps: apply subtle makeup to your eyes and the rest of your face, and then choose a bold color in your ensemble to match on your lips. Deciding on what shade of lipstick to wear is the best part of applying makeup, in my opinion. Makeup is meant to be playful and accentuate your features, so have a little fun and experiment with bold lip colors this summer!
