Wing it! Hey, Fashionistas/os. In the ’50s winged eyeliner (also called “cat eye”) made its way into the limelight. Starting out in Hollywood on many different actresses like Elizabeth Taylor. Now in 2016 it is continued on to many popular celebrities. The great thing about winged eyeliner is it’s very versatile. You could have any eye shape and the eyeliner will always make them pop! You could wear it normally or you could use a beautiful shadow along with lashes that stand out. This Fashionista was wearing a fabulous outfit but made sure that the focus was mainly on her face.
Spring is here and so is that cool weather. In this type of weather you really never know what you are getting. You could be cold one day and super hot the next. This Fashionista made sure she was prepared for any type of weather that would come her way. In her outfit she has on a printed white tank with a fitted crop jacket. She is also wearing jeans and brown booties. For accessories, she has on long detailed earrings and a Michael Kors cross-body bag.
Let’s start with those brows. Shaped and done to perfection using Anastasia eyebrow powder in dark brown. For the hair, this Fashionista used a curling wand which left her hair light and curly. For getting that shiny glow of skin she used OleHENRIKSEN to get the moisturizer she needed. She completed her face by using forever hydrating primer, Maybelline stay matte foundation and Kat Von D tattoo lock it concealer.
What’s on the BEAUTY BAR: To achieve this winged look, this Fashionista started with a fabulous color of shadow. She went for a light pink that would blend in lovely. This shadow was from Too Faced called “stardust.” A similar palette could be Too Faced natural eyeshadow palette that carries a similar color called push-up. She also used other colors from other palettes to make a wonderful ending goal shadow. For the top winged eyeliner she used Tarte paint eyeliner and for the waterline she used Maybelline master drama eyeliner. She ended by using Kat Von D matte liquid lipstick in Lolita and a MAC lip pencil in spice. Also, make sure you end any gorgeous winged look by adding your favorite bold mascara and you are good to step out in any crowd!
