New year, new me…right? The new year is all about revamping yourself. This can range anywhere from making better decisions to even transitioning your style. Sure you could buy an entire new wardrobe, but a great way to update your style is to simply try out new makeup looks!
This Fashionista was spotted over winter break at one of her favorite cafes in her hometown. This Fashionista was inspired by the winter season to create a fresh, frosty look. She used Urban Decay’s eye shadow in Kiddie Pool. Unfortunately, it was discontinued, but she highly recommends Anastasia’s shadow in Icy as a dupe. She accompanied her winter inspired look by wearing cool colors. Her chunky cardigan is from Urban Outfitters. “I love this sweater because you can wear it with any outfit and it actually keeps you warm,” the Fashionista explained. Since the weather on the East Coast hasn’t been too chilly, she balanced out the look by wearing a skirt and knee high socks. You can find a similar skirt at Forever 21.
What’s on the BEAUTY BAR: To recreate this Fashionista’s look, take an icy blue color and use it all over the lid. Make sure to blend, blend, blend with a transition color! This Fashionista used Stark and Anaheim both from the Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Eye Shadow Palette to get the job done. To tie the eye look together, make sure to create thick winged eyeliner. To finish off the whole look, she used Colourpop’s Ultra Matte Liquid Lip in Kapow on her lips. Finally, to really lock in the final look, finish it off with Urban Decay’s Setting Spray. (A holy grail product!).
