People often wonder—what is it like working in fashion? It is everything The Devil Wears Prada makes it seem?
While I can’t speak for the industry as a whole, working at CollegeFashionista, the hustle, grind and dedication to the company is very much a real thing among all our team members.
There are some blaring differences, however. First of all, there seems to be far fewer daily stilettos and a lot more sneakers. And that diet of cheese cubes and air is replaced by doughnuts. Like a lot of doughnuts.
The biggest difference (and probably the best part) about working at CollegeFashionista? That despite the hard work, tireless hours and never-ending to-do lists, we have fun. We find time to laugh, send ridiculous .gifs and bond with each other as co-workers and friends.
While today might be “National Fun at Work Day,” (It’s a thing, I promise. Google it.) we are lucky to make fun our jobs on the reg.
